How Do You Take Your Tea?

Yesterday I was on my way to go grocery shopping and I decided I should buy a tea cup to drink my tea with. A very simple thought, and an obvious one at that, I admit. When I got to Kroger I realized that of the things available to drink coffee or tea out of, only two of the 15 or so options were actual cups. Instead, almost every possible option was a travel mug. Of course, I had not originally planned on getting a travel mug, but I eventually succumbed to purchasing one.

Today, looking back, I began to realize that the reasons I had for buying travel mug rather one of the modernly simple cups revealed a lot about my life. I am just so busy. I don't even have the time to sit and drink a cup of warm tea. All the possible scenarios that involved my tea drinking were coupled with another activity of some sort.

So, I guess I was just coming to the conclusion that my life has become something of a rush. I work, go to class, study and then play video games. Don't get my wrong, I love my life, but I think I just need to make some time to slow down.

That's all. I think I will make a new habit of waking up earlier for a calm breakfast and drinking some warm tea around bed time.
